A Tribute To A Special Man

I was talking to a friend whom I had gone to college with and she told me of her grandfather who just recently lost his wife. As she was telling me about her grandpa, I could here the love, passion, and respect in her voice. Her grandfather's name is Dale and as she told me about Dale I began wishing that I had a father like that in my life. I realize to loose a love one is very painful and we sometimes forget to remember our contribution we made to them while they were her on earth with us. Dale, you are envied by every man on the face of the earth. I believe that we all meet someone who not only becomes our soul mate but our friend, confidant, and life long love. You managed to show love, loyalty, and friendship to your partner for well over fifty years. Dale, for you Daisy has not left you, she is simply preparing a place for you of comfort beside her when God calls you to join her. You see, The love you have is unconditional and can never be duplicated or touched by anyone. As a man Dale, you can hold your head up high and smile because you were responsible for creating a wonderful life for Daisy. I only wish that I was half the man you are.
